Andrew Brookman as a Senior Director of Investments and a member of Oppenheimer’s Institutional Investment Group, Andrew Brookman has extensive experience working with hedge funds, corporations, foundations, endowments, family offices and high net worth individuals. Andrew Brookmans previous work as a fixed income and equity trader, his understanding of securitizations, derivatives and hedging combine to make him a knowledgeable financial advisor for large portfolios and sophisticated clients.   Andrew Brookmans  work with clients includes recommendations for portfolio diversification and management as well as investment advice on strategic investment ideas. Andrew brookman is especially focused on event-driven and value-based investments for his clients. Andrews understanding of how to assess needs, goals and risk tolerance, then create strategies that seek to satisfy them, enable him to recommend portfolios composed of suitable traditional and, where appropriate, alternative investments.   Andrew Brookman joined Oppenheimer from Brill Securities Inc. As Brill’s Managing Director of Fixed Income and Equity Trading, he directed a 70 person team in overall trading of fixed income, options, derivatives and equity trades for hedge funds, money managements and the firm’s internal account.
